Class of 2025 is part of Class Programs, a University Student Chartered Organization which has representation on the Commission on Student Affairs , Student Budget Board and Undergraduate Student Senate (USS). It is part of the Hokie Impact program.

Class officers are elected in the spring of their first year and serve for life on behalf of their class.

Class of 2025 Officer Elections

  • Provides leadership and direction for the Executive Officers and the Leadership Team.
  • Creates a vision for unifying the class with achievable objectives and goals.
  • Represents the Class System to the university, including serving on the Commencement Committee.
  • Appoints vacant executive and/or committee positions.
  • Responsible for creating an inclusive environment for the Executive Officers and the Leadership Team.
  • Delegates Executive Officers to sit on Undergraduate Student Senate (USS) and Commission on Student Affairs (CSA), as well as any other governing bodies.
  • Assists with all committee selections.
  • Assists with all activities of the class.
  • Serves as primary contact to advisors of Class Programs.
  • Serves as Co-chair of the Senior Class Gift Campaign Committee.
  • Oversees activities of all committees, excluding Ring Design, via coordination with Committee Chairs.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all Committee Chairs know their responsibilities.
  • Sets deadlines for the committees and shares that information with the advisor and president.
  • Fulfills duties in the president's absence.
  • Provides ongoing support and feedback for all Committee Chairs.
  • Sits on university committees as delegated by the president.
  • Assists with all committee selections.
  • Assists with all activities of the class.
  • Serves on the Senior Class Gift Campaign Committee.
  • Maintains and manages the respective class budget.
  • Prepares and maintains all vouchers and expenditures.
  •  Represents the Class on Student Budget Board
  • Prepares budget board requests and presents those requests at annual funding hearings.
  • Provides financial reports to the Executive Committee every month.
  • Assists with all committee selections.
  • Assists with all activities of the class.
  • Serves on the Senior Class Gift Campaign Committee.
  • Oversees and manages the Leadership Team selection process.
  • Coordinates class committee information sessions.
  • Takes attendance at all business and executive meetings.
  • Records and maintains all documents pertaining to class business.
  • Reports business meeting minutes to Executive Officers.
  • Assists other officers to communicate any business to other Class Officers.
  • Assists with committee selections.
  • Assists with all activities of the class.
  • Serves on the Senior Class Gift Campaign Committee.
  •  Oversees the social media for the Class.
  • Responsible for taking photographs at all class events.
  • Searches the newspaper and school publications for articles about the organization.
  • Saves memorabilia from events.
  • Compiles a scrapbook (real and/or virtual) of all events and publications.
  • Creates a photo montage for Ring Dance and Ring Premiere.
  • Creates a display for the Organization Fair.
  • Assists with committee selections.
  • Assists with all activities of the class.
  • Serves on the Senior Class Gift Campaign Committee.
  • Serves as a representative for their respective constituents within the class.
  • Serves on the Ring Design Committee.
  • Ensures equal representation of all class members for all class-related activities and programs.
  • Assists with committee selections.

Class Leadership Team

The elected class officers select their Leadership Team in fall of their sophomore year through a process of application and interviews. Committees of the team are at the heart of Hokie Impact programs which include traditional class activities such as the Sophomore Festival, Class Ring, Ring Premiere, Ring Dance, Senior Class Gift, and Grad Bash.

Class Google Groups

Students are placed on a Class Google group by earned credit hours. Some students enter with additional credits which places them in a different class group. A student can request to be placed in the appropriate group by emailing the class listmaster at vtclass@vt.edu.
