Alumni Weekend registration is all inclusive of food, drinks, and entertainment on the schedule. Delta Gammas will have spaces to gather at the Taste of Virginia Food, Wine, and Beer Festival, as well as the celebration dinner and party on the Drillfield. A note from fellow Delta Gamma Alumnae
Dear DG sisters,
Last June we attended the Virginia Tech Alumni Weekend and we had an amazing weekend reconnecting with fellow Hokies. What made the weekend most memorable was meeting by chance at the Taste of Virginia Festival at the Holtzman Alumni Center.
Carolyn and I did not plan so we were genuinely surprised and happy to see each other. After the first hug, the many years since we pledged DG and graduated Virginia Tech melted away. We are so grateful for the tight bonds of sisterhood that were formed back in the early 1980s as they made our reunion effortless.
The whole weekend felt this way as we saw so many friends from our college days. The Alumni Weekend planning committee had a full program of events that we attended. My favorite was the Downtown Takeover where we had a special place to gather with other 1983 classmates.
Blacksburg was ours for the weekend and we were able to attend so many of the events without the crowds or the expense of a football weekend! Virginia Tech has generously offered to provide special spaces at the larger events for DGs to gather, so please consider joining your sisters at the Virginia Tech Alumni Weekend!
