Class of 1970's 50th Reunion

Most scheduled activities will be held in The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center, and the Holtzman Alumni Center.

Thursday, Oct. 1

Reunion Registration and Information

Tee times begin for golf at Pete Dye River Course

Optional golf at the Pete Dye River Course is available. An additional fee will be payable at the course. This summer you will be able to contact the reunion programs team to select your tee-time.

• Time: Tee times will stagger between 11:30 a.m. - noon

Guided Campus Bus Tour   

This 45-minute tour provides an overview of how the campus has changed and highlights new developments on campus.

• Time: 2 p.m., 3 p.m., and 4 p.m.
• Departing Location: Holtzman Alumni Center

Life as a Student Presentation 

Hear from current students as they give an overview of what life as a student is like today.

• Time: 5-6 p.m.

Dinner on Your Own

Enjoy dinner on your own in Downtown Blacksburg or at Preston's Restaurant at The Inn at Virginia Tech. A coupon sheet can be found for downtown restaurants in your reunion bag. If you wish to make reservations at Preston's Restaurant at The Inn at Virginia Tech, call 540-231-0120.

Shuttle Service with Interest Stops

The buses will depart from the Holtzman Alumni Center to the Drillfield in preparation for the Remembrance Service. The first bus (departing at 2 p.m.) will drop off for a Corps of Cadets Upper Quad Tour, including a look at the Corps Museum in Newman Library. Buses will also drop-off at the Virginia Tech Bookstore.

Virginia Tech vs. Georgia Tech

Shuttles will drop off at the South End Zone and will return back to The Inn at Virginia Tech. Shuttles will depart from the South End Zone at the end of each quarter and will continue until after the game.

Post-Game Party

Upon the conclusion of the game, we will provide dinner to all reunion participants. Join us for a wrap-up of the reunion activities.
