The pandemic is impacting all of us wherever we live. Please note the following changes and recommendation for any current or future trips you are planning with The Virginia Tech Alumni Association (VTAA) Travel Program.
Currently, the Commonwealth of Virginia has a statewide ban on all official state employee travel and this means we will be unable to send our alumni representatives to host trips that occur during this time. We recommend caution in making any plans at this time.
Our travel partners are communicating information on changes and cancellations as they have updates to how they are managing their trips. They will be reaching out directly to their booked passengers.
Should you have any questions regarding travel plans or bookings, please contact the travel partner directly using the contact information below. Our office cannot make changes to your current reservations, but we remain available to you for VTAA Travel related questions.
For your awareness, all travel is booked directly with our travel partners. The VTAA is not responsible for trips canceled by our vendors, or any illnesses or quarantines you might experience. We strongly urge all our guests to purchase travel insurance at the level of coverage that is right for you. Please work directly with our travel vendors on your questions regarding cancellations and other concerns.
