Join us for the Enter Night Concert Kickoff, the ultimate pre-show celebration before Metallica performs in Lane Stadium.

The Sochinski-McKee Marching Virginians Center is close to the action, plus we'll have food, drinks, a DJ, and yard games. The event is 21+ and space is limited so make plans now!

Enjoy nachos, sliders (hot dogs, pork BBQ, chicken BBQ, bacon cheeseburgers), mac and cheese, vegetarian baked beans, cupcakes, cookies, sodas, bottled water, beer, wine and seltzer. Please note: Outside alcohol is not permitted. Valid photo ID is required for beer service.

Tickets to the Metallica concert are not required for the Enter Night Concert Kickoff. For details on the concert, please visit HokieSports.com. 

Parking and transporation details

Concert parking opens at 1:30 p.m. All guests should follow concert parking guidelines. Learn more online.

  • Expect traffic delays. Concert traffic will impact arrival. Plan ahead.
  • Drop-offs/pickups at Chicken Hill Lot will not be permitted. Only those with approved paid concert parking may access the Chicken Hill Lot. All lots will be monitored by security.
