FAQs

We're here to answer all your Reunion Weekend questions. Check out the FAQs below.

With current public health guidelines how is this year's event different ?

Because of public health guidelines and the risks large gatherings present, our event this year will be virtual. We have four days of online events planned, Tuesday, June 8 through Friday, June 11. Celebrate throughout the week with our virtual events and keep the fun going through the weekend. Enjoy your swag and Fightin’ Hokies Lager and share the fun online, using #VTReunion.

Who is the reunion for?

We’re celebrating milestone class anniversaries, but all Hokies (and their families) are welcome. Join Hokies from all over the world from where ever you are.

A summertime, reunion weekend? Is this new?

We held our first, summertime reunion weekend in 2018 and our second in 2019. In 2020, our in-person celebration was canceled and we moved the fun online. We changed our approach to reunions in 2018 to provide a better experience for all Hokies.

What about the 50th Reunion, specialty reunions, and college tailgates? Does this change those events?

The Class of 1971 will become the first class to celebrate its 50th Reunion at Reunion Weekend. We'll welcome them as Cornerstone Alumni and celebrate their passion and devotion to Virginia Tech. College tailgates and specialty reunions are not affected.

How can I get involved?

Glad you asked! We're always looking for volunteers to help in reunion planning and promotion. Plus, we're always looking for feedback. We want to hear from you. Send us a note.
