Tee Times Begin for Golf at Pete Dye River Course

Optional golf at the Pete Dye River Course will be available. An additional fee will be payable at the course. 

Guided Campus Bus Tours 

This hour-long tour provides an overview of how the campus has changed and highlights new developments on campus.

  • Time: 2 p.m., 3 p.m., and 4 p.m.
  • Departing Location: Holtzman Alumni Center. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure.

Dinner on Your Own

Enjoy dinner on your own in Downtown Blacksburg or at Preston's Restaurant at The Inn at Virginia Tech. If you wish to make reservations at Preston's Restaurant at The Inn at Virginia Tech, call 540-231-0120.

Just us for an update about the Corps of Cadets from Major General Randy Fullhard, Commandant of Corps of Cadets. You'll also hear from Dr. Frank Shushok, Vice President for Student Affairs, for an inside look at the current student experience.

Shuttle Service with Interest Stops

The buses will depart from the Holtzman Alumni Center to the center of campus with stops at the Virginia Tech Bookstore and the Corps Museum in Newman Library.

Remembrance Service

Join us as we honor all deceased classmates in a special remembrance service ceremony.

Formal Retreat Honoring the Class of 1970

  • Time: 4:15 p.m.
  • Location: Upper Quad; shuttle service back to Inn at the conclusion  

Reunion Reception with Host Bar

Join classmates and friends for a time to mingle before hearing a welcome from President Tim Sands.

The first photo will be with spouses and guests. The second will be with only Class of 1970 members.

Shuttle Buses to Lane Stadium

Virginia Tech vs. Syracuse

Shuttles will drop off at the South End Zone and will return back to The Inn at Virginia Tech. Shuttles will depart from the South End Zone at the end of each quarter and will continue until after the game.

Post-Game Party

Upon the conclusion of the game, we will provide dinner to all reunion participants. Join us for a wrap-up of the reunion activities.
