We're here to answer all your questions. Check out the FAQs below:

A summertime, reunion weekend? Is this new?

We held our first, summertime reunion weekend in 2018 and our second in 2019. We changed our approach to reunions to provide a better experience for all Hokies.

Holding a large reunion in the summer offers more time to explore campus in depth. Hokies have a chance to connect with friends and remember what makes Virginia Tech special.

Who is the reunion for?

We’re celebrating milestone class anniversaries from 1975 to 2015, but all Hokies (and their families) are welcome. This is truly an alumni campus takeover!

What about the 50th Reunion, specialty reunions, and college tailgates? Are those still happening?

Yes! The Class of 1970's 50th Reunion will still be held during Homecoming, and specialty reunions and college tailgates will take place as usual.

Should I bring my family?

Yes, we'll have plenty of family-friendly options! Bring your kids and your significant other and show them what it means to be a Hokie.

Where can I stay?

There are discounted hotel lodging rates for reunion participants or you can stay in a residence hall.

What should I wear?

The entire weekend is "Hokie Casual." Wear your favorite Virginia Tech gear or something you're comfortable in. Sneakers or walking shoes are recommended.

How will I get from place to place?

Be sure to bring your walking shoes! There are activities all around campus and walking between locations is usually the best option. We will have parking passes for reunion registrants that will allow you to drive and park around campus during the reunion. Blacksburg Transit buses run on summer hours and can also be a reliable way to get from place to place, plus it's free for reunion registrants!

How can I get involved?

Glad you asked! We're looking for volunteers to help in the build up to Reunion Weekend 2020. Plus, we're always looking for feedback. We want to hear from you. Send us a note.

I have dietary restrictions or special needs, who do I tell?

When you register for the reunion, we ask for dietary restrictions and special needs on the preferences page. We will convey dietary restrictions to the caterers so we can offer a selection of options. Reunion meals are buffet and grab-and-go style.

If you have a severe allergy and do not plan on eating the food provided at reunion, but still want to participate or have any other questions or concerns, please reach out to us directly at reunion@vt.edu
