Philadelphia Chapter Student Scholarship

Dear prospective Hokie,

Congratulations on your acceptance to Virginia Tech. Virginia Tech is a proud university with numerous educational opportunities — both inside and outside of the classroom. Because our alumni believe that the education we received at Virginia Tech is second to none, we want to encourage you to attend Virginia’s great state university.

As scholarship chair of the Philadelphia Alumni Chapter, and a graduate of the 1999 class, I would like to inform you about a scholarship our chapter plans to award to a worthy high school senior in our area who will attend Virginia Tech in the fall of 2024.

Please complete the online application and submit it by Jan. 1. Please note you must have sent in your official acceptance to Virginia Tech to be eligible for this award.

The criteria for selecting the scholarship award winner include: academic achievement, participation/leadership in school activities, community support, and three short essay questions.
