North Alabama Chapter Student Scholarship

Dear Future Hokie,

Let me start off by saying congratulations and welcome to the Virginia Tech family! As one of the more than 500 Virginia Tech alumni in North Alabama, I can say that your time at Virginia Tech will be one of the most exciting times of your life.

Our university motto is Ut Prosim (That I May Serve). Through the North Alabama Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association, our members hope to serve not only our alma mater, but also our local community by helping local students with some of their first year college expenses. The season is drawing near where we award this scholarship to a worthy student in Alabama attending Virginia Tech. Deadline for submission is Jan. 1.
