Loudoun County Chapter Student Scholarship

The Loudoun County Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association invites you to apply for one of the needs based scholarships that will be awarded to incoming students from high schools in Loudoun County Public School system who will be attending Virginia Tech in the fall.

The criteria for selecting scholarship award recipient(s) include financial need, academic achievement, participation in school activities, and community volunteerism.

Although the scholarship amounts have not be set for this year, the average scholarship amount has been between $4,000 and $6,000 and are paid in the form of credit to the scholarship recipient’s student account in two equal installments before both the fall and spring semesters of their freshman year.

All completed scholarship applications must be received by Jan. 1.  Scholarship awards will be announced by February.
