About Katherine Ramsey

Ramsey has been assisting individuals with their estate planning for over 22 years. A 1986 graduate of Virginia Tech, she has served as a past chair of the Virginia Bar Association’s Section on Wills, Trusts and Estates and is an active member of its legislative committee, on whose behalf she has appeared many times before the Virginia General Assembly.

A Fellow of the American College of Trusts and Estates Counsel and frequent presenter on trusts and estates topics, Ramsey is listed in Best Lawyers in America and recognized as a member of Virginia Business magazine's Legal Elite in Taxes, Estates, and Trusts. She is also an active member of the Richmond Estate Planning Council and the Richmond Trust Administrator's Council, and co-authors a summary of Virginia legal developments in her field for her fellow practitioners each year.
