Join us for the 3rd Biennial Black Alumni Summit

This year’s summit will be July 7-8 and will have a focus on Project 2022, which seeks to engage Black alumni in the recruitment, yield, and retention of Black and African-American students.

Items for discussion at the summit, include:

  • Building regional networks to support Project 2022.
  • Committee planning for the 2018 Black Alumni Reunion, which will be held April 13-15, 2018, the same weekend as the Virginia Tech Spring Game.
  • Friday and Saturday socials.

Menah Pratt-Clarke, vice president for strategic affairs and vice provost for inclusion and diversity, and Crystal Crockett, director of development for inclusion and diversity, will give an update on diversity initiatives, and alumni will work together to develop plans for regional support.
