Minnesota Chapter Student Scholarship

Dear Future Hokie,

I am writing to tell you about one of the best things that ever happened to me: making the decision to attend Virginia Tech.  Because of the outstanding faculty, staff, and students, my time there was excellent preparation for both my career and life in general.  Believe it or not, another 500 or so Virginia Tech alumni are living in Minnesota as well. Because we believe that the education we received at Virginia Tech is second to none — and because it is one of the ways we carry out the university’s motto, Ut Prosim (That I May Serve) — our alumni chapter raises funds each year to provide scholarships to first-year students at our alma mater.

As the Minnesota Chapter scholarship chairperson, I would like to inform you of our scholarship(s) opportunity. Our chapter will award them to a worthy high school senior(s) in our area who will attend Virginia Tech in the fall of 2024. It is our small way to encourage you in your academic pursuits at one of the nation’s finest universities. Deadline for submission is Jan. 1.
