Dallas Fort-Worth Chapter Student Scholarship

Dear Future Hokies:

Welcome to the Hokie Nation! We are thrilled that you have chosen to pursue your educational goals at Virginia Tech. My four years at Virginia Tech for my undergraduate studies were some of the most definitive of my life. Through the years as I’ve lived and worked around the world, I have remained connected to the university through my commitment to outstanding academics, as a corporate recruiter returning to campus to hire Hokies, through my commitment to our motto Ut Prosim (That I May Serve), and through my passion for Hokie sports!

As President of the DFW Alumni Chapter, I would like to inform you about a $1,000+ scholarship our chapter plans to award to a worthy high school senior in our local area who will attend Virginia Tech in the fall of 2024.

The criteria for selecting the scholarship winner include academic achievements and participation in community and school activities. The DFW Alumni Scholarship Committee will contact the scholarship winner in early June. Please also be on the lookout for information about our Student Send-Off social to which you and your family will be invited.
