Central Florida Chapter Student Scholarship

Dear Future Hokie,

Congratulations on your acceptance into Virginia Tech! Did you know that more than 1,500 Tech alumni are living or working in the Central Florida area? You are joining a growing community of Hokies across Central Florida! You also have joined a worthwhile community of brilliant modern minds, practitioners of ancient arts, and inventors of the future. We believe in Virginia Tech and would like to encourage you on your upcoming journey.

This letter is to inform you about a scholarship that the Central Florida Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association awards annually. This scholarship is awarded to a high school senior in our area who enrolls at Virginia Tech in the fall of 2024. The amount of the scholarship is $1,000 and will be administered by the Virginia Tech Alumni Association in Blacksburg.

Please complete the application and submit it by Jan. 1 via the online form.

The criteria for selecting the scholarship winner includes academic achievement, as well as participation in school activities and community support.
