Joint Reunion for the Classes of 1988, 1989 and 1990

Registration has closed. We look forward to seeing you back on campus!

Dear Classmates,

It is hard to believe that it has been 20 years since we first arrived on the Virginia Tech campus to begin our collegiate experience. Our time at Tech was incredible in so many ways: personally, academically, professionally and, of course, socially. It was a time of tremendous growth for the university in terms of academic programs, research programs, and facilities; it is amazing to see the many changes on campus since our first days.

We all have good friends who graduated from Virginia Tech a year or two before or after we did – so let’s get together with our friends from ’88, ’89, and ’90. Our three classes will gather together for a joint reunion the weekend of November 16 and 17. We will gather informally on Friday evening at the new Holtzman Alumni Center and then join together on Saturday for a pre-game brunch and pep rally before heading to Lane Stadium to cheer the Hokies to a victory over ACC rival Miami.

With the newly opened Holtzman Alumni Center, Skelton Conference Center and The Inn at Virginia Tech, we have an opportunity to stay and gather there and tour the new facilities. Please register for the reunion, order football tickets, and reserve lodging space conveniently online. Lodging and game tickets will go fast, so don’t delay signing up.

The Alumni Association is ready to help you get in touch with friends and classmates. To locate them to encourage them to join you, visit www.alumni.vt.edu or contact the Alumni Association.

If you or any of your guests have special needs while you are visiting us (i.e., special diet, mobility accommodations, etc.) or need additional information, contact Cathy Lally at the Alumni Association (540/231-6285 or VaTechAlumni@vt.edu).

Let’s come together to relive memories, renew acquaintances, make new friends and cheer on the Hokies in Virginia Tech style.

Kimble “Jay” Reynolds, President ’88
Greg Battaglia, President ’89
Bill Tyrrell, President ’90
