Fellow '68 Classmates:

On behalf of the Class of ’68 officers and reunion committee, it is our pleasure to invite you to our 45th Class Reunion on November 15-16, 2013, in the Holtzman Alumni Center and The Inn at Virginia Tech. This is the Tech vs. University of Maryland weekend. And it is the reunion before our big 50th anniversary when we are to be inducted in to the Old Guard of the Alumni Association.

Events begin Friday evening after arrival during the day.  We are offering an optional bus tour of campus, which has changed quite a bit over the past 45 years. You will see some spectacular new buildings and landscaped areas that have never seemed more beautiful. Our Saturday will include a brunch and an afternoon football game against the Maryland Terrapins. Exact ACC game times are set closer to the game date these days – stay tuned! Here are the highlights of our weekend after arriving on Friday:

• 45th Reunion Reception, Banquet, and Dancing (yes, the DJ has relics called “albums”!)
• Saturday morning brunch and spirit rally with the Hokie Bird
• Hokie Football vs. Maryland in Lane Stadium in class seating section
• Enjoy time with classmates back at The Inn or around Blacksburg

The Holtzman Alumni Center adjoining The Inn will serve as our reunion headquarters. Lodging rooms in The Inn and football tickets (if needed) have been reserved especially for our class. These are limited, so register early. Ours will be the only class reunion that game, so we will get lots of attention.
