Class of 1964 45th Anniversary Reunion

Thursday and Friday
October 29 - 30, 2009

Virginia Tech vs North Carolina

Dear ’64 Classmates,

On behalf of the Class of 1964 officers and committee, it is my pleasure to invite you to our 45th Class Reunion October 29-30, 2009 in the new Alumni Center. The reunion begins Thursday night with a pre-game meal and spirit rally at the Skelton Conference Center. Virginia Tech plays UNC that evening in an exciting ACC matchup and we are the guests of honor. The Thursday night game provides ample opportunity for us to tour the campus and catch up with each other during the day Friday. The day is then capped by the traditional reception and banquet. Those wishing an extra leisurely day with classmates may extend their stay through Saturday.

Our seniority among the ranks of Virginia Tech alumni is growing. We will be the only class holding a reunion on this date. Since many fans will likely be leaving town soon after the game, we have the active campus, tennis courts, golf courses, and lots of easy chairs to enjoy with relative ease.

The Holtzman Alumni and Skelton Conference Centers will serve as our reunion headquarters. Lodging rooms and football tickets have been reserved especially for our class, but are limited, so please register soon. If you have questions or would like help locating classmates, please contact Jack Hutcheson (jhutches@nvc.vt.edu or 703/538-8331). We look forward to seeing you in the fall.

Bob Russell, President Class of 1964
