Dear Fellow Classmates:

It doesn’t seem possible that it’s been 40 years since we received our degrees from Virginia Tech. We will celebrate our Class of ’68 40th Reunion Weekend on November 28 - 29, 2008. I am delighted with the opportunity to hold our reunion in the Holtzman Alumni Center and the Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center. In addition, we couldn’t have asked for a better game against our in-state rivals, the University of Virginia. Because of the Thanksgiving holiday, we will have an opportunity to bring our classmates together informally beginning on Friday afternoon, which will allows some extra time with classmates and a chance to explore some of the many wonderful initiatives taking place on the Virginia Tech campus.

On Friday evening we will gather for our anniversary banquet and Saturday morning we will gather for a jazz champagne brunch before taking a leisurely walk to the game. Members of The Class of 1968 will be honored guests at Lane Stadium during the where the Hokies will take on the Wahoos.

Please make plans to join me and other classmates for the weekend. The Alumni Association has organized a festive weekend of activities. Contact your classmates and invite them to join us for this special weekend on campus. The Alumni Association can assist in locating old friends. Whether it has been 40 years or just a few days since you last spoke with classmates, pick up the phone or e-mail them and encourage others to attend.

The Holtzman Alumni Center and Skelton Conference Center will serve as our reunion headquarters. Lodging rooms and football tickets have been reserved especially for our class, yet are limited to one per paid registrant (4 total)..
