Class of 1979 30th Anniversary Reunion

Dear Classmates,

The 30th anniversary celebration of our graduation will be held this fall on September 18 - 19 at the new Alumni Center. The rematch with the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the spectacular Tech campus will be a wonderful setting to reunite with classmates and to learn about what is new at Virginia Tech. Walk the campus, reflect at the April 16th Memorial, and tailgate near the stadium. Do not miss this opportunity to add to your Virginia Tech experience.

Reunion headquarters and most activities will be held at The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center. The Inn at Virginia Tech, Skelton Conference Center and Holtzman Alumni Center are located between Price’s Fork Road and the Duckpond. Reunion registration will begin on Friday afternoon, followed by a casual reception and dinner with a guest speaker. Saturday will begin with a brunch at The Inn at Virginia Tech and then the rally of classmates for the football game.

Lodging in Blacksburg and game tickets are being held for our class, but are limited, so register as soon as possible. If you have questions or would like help locating classmates, please contact Cathy Lally at alumni@vt.edu or 540/231-6285 at the Alumni Association.

  • $40 per child 5 - 10 years old
