Dear Fellow Classmates:
It doesn’t seem possible that it’s been 25 years since we received our degrees from Virginia Tech. We will celebrate our Class of ’83 25th Reunion Weekend on November 21-22, 2008. I am delighted with the opportunity to hold our reunion in the beautiful Holtzman Alumni Center and the Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center. In addition, we will be playing ACC rival Duke in Lane Stadium. Go Hokies!
On Friday evening Latham Ballroom will be transformed into the Hokie Sports Lounge, with ESPN, tailgate buffet, orange and maroon everywhere, Hokie Pokie contest, memory table and much more! On Saturday morning we will gather for a brunch and then you can enjoy the campus with family, friends and other Hokies before the Virginia Tech vs Duke game.
The Alumni Association has organized a festive weekend of activities. Contact your classmates and invite them to join us for this special weekend on campus. The Alumni Association can assist in locating old friends. Whether it has been 25 years or just a few days since you last spoke with classmates, pick up the phone or e-mail them and encourage others to attend.
The Holtzman Alumni Center and Skelton Conference Center will serve as our reunion headquarters. Lodging rooms and football tickets have been reserved especially for our class, but are limited to one per paid registrant (4 total). If you have questions, special dietary or mobility restrictions, or would like help locating classmates, please contact Melissa Vidmar (VaTechAlumni@vt.edu or 540/231-6285) at the Alumni Association.
