Paintings Exhibit

A Blacksburg resident since 1954, Sally Mook is an artist, volunteer, and retired nurse who lives near the edge of the Jefferson National Forest. She began painting seriously in 1990 and has shown her work in dozens of one-woman, cooperative and juried group exhibitions. Sally enjoys
painting almost any subject in almost any medium using her imagination and real life as well as a wide range of colors and techniques. Her paintings have won numerous awards and are included in collections throughout the U.S.A. and in several foreign countries. Her husband, Dean T. Mook, is the N. Waldo Harrison Professor Emeritus in the Department of Engineering Science and Mechanics at Virginia Tech.
