(Translation: Celebrating our common bonds through Virginia Tech)
Virginia Tech welcomes the largest class of Hispanic/Latino students this fall!
A new Hispanic/Latino outreach initiative, known as “Nuestro Avance,” is a special project that focuses on academic support and achievements of our Hispanic/Latino community. This initiative positions Virginia Tech as a leader within the Hispanic/Latino community, helping strengthen ties among Hispanic/Latino heritage alumni. "Nuestro Avance" will have multiple facets that include working with k-12 schools, colleges, alumni, and local communities.
Through your involvement, this program provides current students a great opportunity to interact with alumni and others within the Hokie Nation. We hope you will join the Virginia Tech Alumni Association and Center for Academic Enrichment & Excellence to get more involved.
