Website Templates
Our newest template is an all CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) design which meets the most up-to-date standards.
Below are some chapter website templates designed for easy modification. Before trying to use a template, you should either have basic knowledge of HTML or read the Resources section of our for more Chapter Website Design Tools Page for more information.
To use a template:
1) Click on the Text File link above a template: this will display the HTML code. Save the code by going to the File Menu of your browser and choosing "Save As" or "Save Page As."
2) Once you've saved the text file to your computer, open it in a text editor (WordPad, NotePad, BBEdit, etc.). Delete the first "!" in the first line of the code, and choose "Save As" again, this time change the file extension to ".html" (previously ".txt"). If your editor won't let you change the extension, you can save the file and change the extension later.
3) To use a template for a multiple page site, edit the text file to reflect your chapter's name and contact information, then "Save As" several times, changing the file name for each page.
