You are REQUIRED to have a Virginia Tech PID (vt.edu e-mail address) to access the new Chapter Forms system. The Chapter Forms system allows you to submit event information, publication requests, update chapter contact information and more.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ONE...

  1. Please visit Alumni Gateway.
  2. Once you have a VT PID, please send your name, chapter name and VT PID to your chapter liaison AND Vijay Mallikarjunan.
  3. Vijay Mallikarjunan will then give you access to the chapter system.

THE PURPOSE OF AN ALUMNI CHAPTER

  1. To provide an important communications link between alumni and the university
  2. To promote the image and reputation of Virginia Tech within the community
  3. To promote strong positive relationships among alumni, students, parents and others within the community
  4. To support the activities of Virginia Tech and work toward the realization of the university's educational goals
  5. To provide the university with a strong core of alumni volunteers who serve as an important marketing arm of the university
  6. To promote the alumni pride and spirit of Virginia Tech.

And remember, there are no dues required. Once you graduate you become a member automatically.
