The Virginia Tech Alumni Association has partnered with the American Red Cross to initiate a national month long blood drive campaign. Please see our chapters' blood drives below or if you have questions, please contact Cathy Lally.

"We are doing a Blood Drive on the 16th, and with the initial response we have received, the Red Cross has upped the goal from 100 pints to 130 pints. (They are considering raising it to 150 pints.) The response so far has been phenomenal!"

• Baltimore Chapter - We have not arranged a particular place or time, but encourage alumni, family and friends to give blood during the period of April thru June of 2008.

• Denver Chapter will have a month long blood drive with their local blood bank, Bonfils Blood Center. Please reference the group name "DENVER HOKIES" and group number "6724". Appointments, medical guidelines, where to donate, etc. can be found online at www.bonfils.org (you'll need to set up an account first) or call 303/363-2300.
