Dear Sponsor,
Virginia Tech is preparing for the next Black Alumni Reunion, March 15 - 18, 2012. The success of this event will be credited largely to our sponsors who lend their names and financial support. The money raised will go toward supporting Multicultural Alumni Programs and the reunion as we endeavor to impact the lives of students, alumni, faculty/staff, and community members at Virginia Tech.
By participating as a sponsor, your organization will benefit from extended exposure through media campaigns and promotional efforts. In celebrating the event, the university expects over 600 attendees, corporate sponsors, students, faculty/staff, and community members to gather for information sessions, meetings, and banquets. For your generous donation, you’ll be able to enjoy excellent exposure to this important segment of your target audience.
The reunion offers professional and personal development, sessions in community leadership, project planning, and civic engagement. In addition, the reunion will allow companies to learn more about the tremendous work of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association, its influential Black alumni, and find mutually beneficial ways to get involved in the communities we serve. Under my leadership as Black Alumni Reunion Chair, I endeavor to forge innovative partnerships that benefit communities and corporate partners in the areas of education, diversity, career recruitment and networking, and financial development.
We have several sponsorship levels. You can select the level of participation that best meets your means and be secure in the knowledge that your sponsorship will be used to help support this important endeavor. We are counting on your support and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Thank you in advance for your willingness to support the efforts of the 2012 Black Alumni Reunion as we strive to make a difference in our community.
Sincerely,
Ellis Savage
