Blocks of rooms have been reserved at the Hotel Roanoke and the Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center. Space is limited. Please join us in Roanoke on Thursday, March 19th as Bruce Mau Design presents a lecture illuminating the opportunities of design thinking in the 21st century. The lecture will begin at 3:30 p.m. and will be followed by a reception and dinner at Hotel Roanoke. Attendance on this day only to lecture and dinner is limited to 180 registrants.
On Friday, March 20th, join us in Blacksburg for a lecture by Lee Polisano, President of KPF International, regarding new developments and dimensions of design, research, and practice. Following the lecture will be an afternoon discussion of research projects underway in the School of Architecture + Design and a reception.
Alumni are asked to contribute work for an exhibition that will be shown throughout the symposium on the subject of design research in your firm. Please see more details regarding the Alumni Exhibition on our website.
